Midlife is an important time for reflection. In this period of life, more-so than most, its really important that we have a sense of where we are and where we are going. Working your way through these 10 questions will start you thinking. They may also be just the thing you need to start contemplating some changes that could make your life better and more fulfilling.
Here are the 10 questions. Try to answer them all. You may find some quite difficult but take heart – it’s usually the questions that we struggle with that are the most important of all.

What am I doing to build and sustain my relationships with family and friends?

When was the last time I did something that took me out of my comfort zone?

If I continue on my current path what (if anything) might I regret in 20 years time?

What am I doing to take care of my physical and mental health?

How am I making sure that I’m continually learning and growing?

What could I do to add some more fun and laughter into my life?

In what way am I making a significant contribution to the world around me?

How often do I slow down and give myself a chance to recharge?

Do I know my guiding purpose in life? Am I living in line with this purpose?
You most likely have formed some top of head responses by reading through them and coming up with a quick answer in your head. For a deeper consideration you may want to write down some answers or you could find someone you trust and discuss with them.
Then choose one area that you will focus on over the next six months. Happy contemplating!
